Precision excavation, cutting and finishing of rock and sandstone on site is one of our key specialties.
Our excavation work for the award winning Bellevue Hill home, for example, involved excavating 2,500 tonnes of sandstone and soil, initially by hand, and saw-cutting of the rock face to form walls up to 18 metres in height. Parts of these walls were left exposed and hand finished by our Stonemasons.
For another house in the Eastern Suburbs, we excavated a 16 metre long tunnel into solid rock, to create a large garage area, as well as hand-excavating vertically above, to provide a lift shaft for access to the house situated 10 metres above the garage.
